Monthly magazine edited by Patrick Burgoyne
I know the title of this section is book review, but I thought no design book review page could go without a few words mentioned of the infamous and essential Creative Review.
Creative Review is a monthly magazine which showcases the best in visual communication. Each month the magazine concentrates on a theme, an artistic discipline, an exhibition, a company or a contemporary idea. The magazine has lots of interesting articles and large images which make it a pleasure to go through slowly, and meticulously each month. It is definately a must for any designers coffee table as it basically keeps you informed of what is happening in the industry yesterday today and in the future!CR, not only commissions prestigious communication agencies, design theorists and new protagonists, it also trawls through the arena to find not so well known agencies or artists who are breaking boundaries and who deserve a platform.
Subscription for around 2 years is roughly £150 well worth it for a stack of visual diamonds on your book shelf!
