Another member of staff and another amazing journey...we don't like mundane stories!
It is true that Deen comes from sunny Hertforshire, it is also true that he has always had a love of lunguistics. That love, along with his eagerness to know just how the world works, led him to far off shores on a mystical linguistical tour!
First stop was Cairo, where he was dazzled with the Middle East. Determined to unlock this shrouded puzzle of history and politics, Deen studied Arabic at the American University there. Armed with his new found language, and eager to try it out, he moved to Beirut in Lebanon.
Here Deen soon found out that he could couple his passion of language with researching what made his new found home tick, by becoming a freelance journalist. This led him into research on all types of subjects he was commissioned on, art, music, culture and politics. The latter really caught his attention, let's face it, there is so much to talk aboutwith Politics in the Middle East!
It was around this time that he met Geoff, our Lead Graphic Designer who runs our Middle East office. Finding that they share a passion for knowledge and debates (usually ones that go into the wee hours of the morning), they became instant friends. They realised that they both had skills which they could bring to the table and so Deen joined our merry Middle Eastern ship!
And so it lasts to this day, with Deen providing well researched and written copy for all manner of projects for our clients, in both Arabic and English!
