Doing every little bit we can to help the world around us

Our fragile environment needs our help

Aims and objectives of the a fish in sea team

Our fragile environment needs our help, so here are the aims and objectives of the a fish in sea team:

a fish in sea is committed to the continual conservation of our environment whilst endeavouring to minimise impact and associated risks from our business practice.

a fish in sea will manage its business procedures and practices in ways that are environmentally sustainable, economically viable and provide appropriate environmental education to its staff and clients as required.

In order to achieve these aims the a fish in sea studio has the following key objectives:

  • To encourage sound environmental management policies and practices throughout the studio.
  • As a minimum, to comply with the requirements of relevant legislation.
  • To make efficient and environmentally responsible use of energy and water - these include the use of lo-energy monitors, lighting and switching all equipment off at the end of day as far as is practicable.
  • To promote environmentally responsible procurement of goods, services and materials.
  • To minimise waste production as far as is practicable and to reuse or recycle waste where appropriate.
  • To reduce and, where practicable, prevent environmental and noise pollution.
  • To minimise the impact of transport on the environment arising from its own use of vehicles, encouraging the use of bicycles and public transport to travel to and from work.
  • To minimise the adverse environmental impact from the decommissioning and disposal of studio assets.
  • To raise awareness of staff and clients to our environmental impact, activities and performance and to promote individual good practice.
  • The main responsibility for implementation of this policy lies with a fish in sea and the company Managing Director.

Whilst a fish in sea accepts the main responsibility for implementation of this policy, individuals, and the global population as a whole have a very important role in cooperating to safeguard our fragile environment.
